Maternity package

For the delivery and postpartum period, you will need a so-called maternity package.

Many insurance companies provide free maternity packages that include all the items you need. Please ask your insurance company to send you a maternity package. Make sure you do so in time.

Raising the bed

During the postpartum period, the bed should be raised by using bed risers or beer crates. The minimal height of the bed should be 65cm. You can borrow bed risers at the 'Thuiszorgwinkel' for free. The 'Thuiszorgwinkel' also rents out baby scales and breast pumps.

a small bottle of alcohol 70%
